He has won a SAMA award for song of the year, hosted one of most beloved local tv game shows, made turns around some of the most popular radio stations in the country. Sbusiso Leope aka DJ Sbu is known for his explosive works on airwaves as a DJ on SA's Metro Fm radio station and now he's curving a place of his own in the business world DJ Sbu born and bred in Tembisa in the Guateng province studied Sound Engineering at the African Media University and also studied electrical at Technikon Witwatersrand. He started his broadcasting career on a community radio station in Tembisa and climbed up the ladder to produce and present a show on YFM further on up the ladder he landed a TV gig of hosting the popular local game show Friends Like These. Alongside Bonang Matheba and Trevor Noah, DJ Sbu was on the Forbes Africa list of African Celebrities To Watch in 2013 DJ Sbu has produce a South African energy drink called Mofaya and he can be seen on the twitter spheres marketing his produce. More household are to be expected from this business phenomenon, rumours have done the rounds that bread and toilet paper are in the pipelines.

DJ Sbu has had his fair share of scandals from being sued by Forbes Africa for forging a cover to having his energy drink removed from the shelves and rumoured not to have been approved by the SABS, but this not that kind of article.
