Boredom Galore on COTCSA

The third performance episode of Clash Of The Choirs SA aired last night and it was a good waste of time. Clash Of The Choirs sees 7 SA musicians battle it out with a choir they have put together themselves. Last week the theme was SA Legends and the legend amongst the choir masters Papa Penny was sent packing after messing up PJ Powers' Jabulani and losing to Busiswa in the Clash Off. Last Night the theme was 90's Rnb and I was expecting to at least hear popular songs from artists like Whitney Huston, Mariah Carey, Boyz II Men and Brian Mcknight. Instead it was a bunch of really dry songs done the exact same way as the originals. This year the choir masters seem to lack creativity except for Ifani and Kelly Khumalo. I expected a lot from Bucie and Busiswa but it seems they lack. Bucie's choir was at the bottom the first performance episode and Busiswa's choir had the same fate last week but got to stay after beating Penny Penny's choir in the clash off. Last night both these choirs landed in the bottom 2 and clashed off a clash off that would've seen Team Bucie exit but Zwai apparently had the power to make this week an non-elimination week which he used last night and so I'm guessing all the judges enjoy the same privilege which means we have 2 more non-elimination weeks.

If you ask me so far the choirs that will be in the finale are that of Ifani, JR and Kelly Khumalo but only time will tell.
